— Service 05 · Volume
Injection Molding is the volume end of the same pipeline. Prototype by printing, validate the part in your hand, then move that exact design into tooling — without changing suppliers halfway through.
Pricing
Tooling cost, cost per part and the quantity at which moulding overtakes printing are all specific to the geometry, the material and the run. We quote them against your part rather than against an illustrative model, so the number you get is one you can plan with.
Process
We look at the part as a moulded part rather than a printed one and talk through what has to change, if anything.
The tool is designed around the part — how it splits, how it fills, and how it comes out.
The tool is made for your part, from the same model our design team built.
First shots are run and inspected so the tool can be adjusted before anything is produced in quantity.
You see and sign off a sample part before the production run is released.
The approved tool runs, and parts are checked and packed as they come off.

— Where this sits
Every step stays under one roof, so nothing gets re-interpreted on the way through.
Object to digital surface
Model built to be made
Additive, up to 16 colours
Sanded, primed and painted
The same part, in quantity
Moulding trades a one-off tooling cost for a much lower cost per part, so it becomes the better answer somewhere above a certain quantity. Where that crossover sits depends entirely on the part and the tool, so we work it out for your project rather than publishing a figure.
That is the point of holding both under one roof. The design that was validated on the print floor is the design the tool is built around — there is no new supplier and no new file to re-interpret.
Tool ownership, storage and future runs are agreed as part of the project. Ask us and we will set it out in writing for your job.
It depends on the tool. We confirm the schedule for your specific project when we quote it.
Tell us what the part needs to be and we will confirm what we can run for it.
Send the model you want moulded and the quantity you have in mind.
